PEUGEOT electric cars offer several ways to charge your battery that save you time. In addition, charging an electric car is convenient and easy, and can be done quickly and intuitively.
Accelerated charge - Charge your e-208 quickly and safely from a dedicated charging point, which takes approximately 7.5 hours (7kW) for a full charge. Government subsidies in the UK are available to support this chargepoint installations at home or workplaces – we can talk you though the options.
Charging from a domestic plug - The e-208 charges from empty to full using a domestic plug in approximately 24 hours. A cable can be purchased as an accessory if you wish to use this method.
Charging with public charging points - At 100kW rapid charge points, you can obtain 80% of the vehicle charge in 30 minutes^. Rapid charge points can now be found at most motorway service stations and are being progressively installed across the UK. Standard/accelerated chargepoints can also be found in many on-street and car park locations.
^The vehicle will rapid charge at a rate of up to 100kW, depending on the power of the rapid charging station used and will take longer to charge at a lower power. Rapid charging stations are available across the UK at various locations and their power rating varies, typically from 50kW and sometimes up to 350kW.
